Dirigentes de escolas de negócios se reúnem em Miami

Reitores, decanos e presidentes de Escola de Negócios de várias partes do mundo, membros do Cladea, estão reunidos na Flórida International University para o 1º Deans Workshop of Cladea. O objetivo do evento é debater as perspectivas da educação em gestão, a importância da acreditação internacional e os atuais desafios frente a transformação digital.
Por meio da fala de seu presidente, Dr. Norman Arruda Filho, o ISAE Escola de Negócios propôs a reflexão sobre como melhorar o impacto social das Escolas de Negócios. “No ISAE acreditamos que as escolas de negócios podem ser mais do que centros de aprendizagem técnica, podendo ensinar valores e contribuir de forma positiva com a sociedade. Isso acontece por meio de projetos transversais, parcerias com outros segmentos e principalmente na formação de líderes mais responsáveis e comprometidos com um propósito que vai além de aspirações pessoais”, declarou o presidente.
A apresentação seguiu com explicações sobre a Agenda 2030 da ONU e os Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável. “Procurei leva-los a questionarem sua atuação e refletirem sobre seu legado emocional, que é um valor maior do que qualquer ganho financeiro, pois estão alinhados com o propósito de vida”, finaliza.
Business school leaders meet in Miami
Deans and Business School presidents from around the world, members of the Cladea, are meeting at Florida International University for the 1st Deans Workshop of Cladea. The objective of the event was to discuss the perspectives of management education, the importance of international accreditation and the current challenges facing digital transformation.
The ISAE Business School was represented by its president, Dr. Norman Arruda Filho. He suggested the reflection about improving the social impact of Business Schools. "At ISAE we believe that business schools can be more than centers of technical learning and can teach values and contribute positively to society. This is done through cross-cutting projects, partnerships with other segments and especially in the formation of more responsible leaders committed to a purpose that goes beyond personal aspirations", said the president.
The presentation followed with explanations on the UN Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Objectives. "I've tried to get them to question their performance and reflect on their emotional legacy, which is worth more than any financial gain, because they are aligned with the purpose of life", he says.
